Since 1899, St. Mary’s High School has been a cornerstone of faith-filled education in Westfield. Originally housed alongside the elementary school, the high school found its permanent home in 1963, when Monsignor George Shea acquired the former Westfield Trade School building next door. More than a century later, our students still walk those same halls — halls that have witnessed generations of learning, friendship, and growth.
For over 123 years, St. Mary’s graduates have gone on to make an impact in every field imaginable, carrying with them the values and spirit nurtured within these walls. But time takes its toll. Our historic brick building, though rich in tradition, requires ongoing maintenance, modernization, and upgrades to remain a vibrant, functional home for today’s students — and tomorrow’s Saints.
Your support makes that possible. A gift to our Building Improvements & Operations Fund helps us preserve the heart of our campus while preparing it for the future — ensuring that the next generation of Saints can continue to learn, grow, and thrive here for decades to come.
Thank you for being part of our story and for helping us build the future while honoring our past.
